Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty was trading 19.25 points down at 13741.3, while the BSE Sensex was trading 29.90 points down at 46930.79.
On the other hand, Birlasoft, Gland Pharma, CAMS, Max Financial and Narayana Hrudayalaya stocks hit their fresh 52-week high today.
In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, HCL Tech, Sun Pharma, Infosys and RIL were among the top gainers on the NSE. However, M&M, Tata Motors, Indian Oil Corp, GAIL and ONGC were among the top losers.
