NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Monday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Bombay Oxygen Invest(14.32%), Pearl Global(12.2%), Thyrocare Tech.(11.65%), Lovable Lingerie(11.18%), Borosil L(10.32%), Samrat Pharma(10.31%) and Sulabh Engineer(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 157.74 points up at 60844.43, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 44.95 points to 18147.7.
In the Nifty 50 index, 30 stocks traded in the green, while 20 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Sigachi Industries Ltd., PB Fintech Ltd., Mirza Intnl, Lovable Lingerie and Ansal Buildwell hit their fresh 52-week high, while S R G Sec. Fin., IOL Chemicals, Transglobe Foods, Arihant Institute and Trans Financial touched their new 52-week low in trade.
