NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green on Wednesday amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, KDDL Ltd(14.84%), Aartech Solonics(14.02%), Oriental Veneer(13.61%), Super Fine Knitters(13.02%), Ishaan Infrastru(12.33%), Prime Property(12.04%), Apollo Hospital(10.85%), Starline Precious(10.17%), Salzer Electro(10.17%) and Saraswati Comm(10.0%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 84.51 points up at 60406.88, while the 50-share Nifty index rose 18.85 points to 18018.05.
In the Nifty 50 index, 26 stocks traded in the green, while 23 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Vishal Bearings Ltd., Man Infracons, KDDL Ltd, Aartech Solonics and Oriental Veneer hit their fresh 52-week high, while Narayani Steels, Vikas WSP, Sun Retail, Macro Exports and Evans Electric touched their new 52-week low in trade.
