KIOCL(down 2.22%), Aro Granite Industries(down 2.08%), Madhav Marbles and Granites(down 2.06%), Orissa Minerals Development Company(down 1.31%), Gujarat Mineral Dvpt Corporation(down 1.18%), MOIL(down 0.75%), 20 Microns(down 0.57%), NMDC Ltd(down 0.47%), Ashapura Minechem(down 0.38%) and Coal India(down 0.38%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 121.4 points down at 17777.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 346.37 points at 59661.96 at around 11:05AM.
Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.84%), SBI Life(up 0.74%), Asian Paints(up 0.54%), HDFC Bank(up 0.48%), State Bank of India(up 0.3%), Hindalco Industries(up 0.28%), Reliance Industries(up 0.26%), ICICI Bank(up 0.05%) and Indian Oil Corporation(up 0.04%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 4.05%), HCL Technologies(down 2.79%), Tech Mahindra(down 2.2%), Eicher Motors(down 2.12%), Hero MotoCorp(down 2.06%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 2.03%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 2.0%), Larsen & Toubro(down 1.88%), Wipro(down 1.73%) and Divis Laboratories(down 1.56%) were trading in the red.
