NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 47.03 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 8.46 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 7.94 crore), Trident Ltd(numbers of share traded: 7.87 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 6.68 crore), Tata Power(numbers of share traded: 6.25 crore), Vedanta (numbers of share traded: 5.86 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 4.86 crore), Tata Motors(numbers of share traded: 4.00 crore) and Bharti Airtel(numbers of share traded: 3.69 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 348.25 points down at 17416.55, while BSE Sensex ended down 1170.12 points at 58465.89.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 5.70 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 5.02 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 4.73 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 4.63 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 4.43 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
