Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Alpa Labs(14.98%), Bal Pharma(14.44%), Systematix Corp(13.94%), Bajaj Healthcare(13.49%), IOB(13.1%), Sikozy Realtors(13.04%), ITL Industries(12.92%), Reliance Chemo(11.91%), Chordia Food(11.67%) and Steel Exchange(11.39%).

The 30-share Sensex ended 323.34 points down at 58340.99, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 88.3 points down at 17415.05.

In the Nifty 50 index, 17 stocks ended in the green, while 32 stocks closed in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Dr. Lalchandani Labs, Dhruv Consultancy, Latent View Analytics Ltd., Ajanta Soya and Jagan Lamps hit their fresh 52-week high, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, Vanta Bioscience, Bloom Ind, Spandana Sphoorty and Kansal Fibres touched their new 52-week low in today’s trade.
