Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 121.2 points up at 17536.25, while the BSE Sensex closed 454.1 points up at 58795.09.
On the other hand, Sarthak Metals, Bajaj Healthcare, Dhruv Consultancy, R Systems Intnl and Latent View Analytics Ltd. stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Divis Labs, ITC, Infosys and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, Indian Oil Corp., Britannia, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Bank and IndusInd Bank were among the top losers of the day.
