Sikko Industries(down 4.82%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 3.39%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 3.10%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 2.69%), ZUARIAGRO(down 2.69%), National Fertilizer(down 2.57%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 2.55%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.45%), Aries Agro(down 2.19%) and Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 2.06%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 369.3 points down at 17166.95, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 1237.16 points at 57557.93 at around 10:36AM.
Cipla(up 4.57%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 2.57%) and Divis Laboratories(up 1.05%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Motors(down 5.48%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 3.9%), Hindalco Industries(down 3.78%), Bajaj Finance(down 3.64%), Titan Company Ltd(down 3.62%), Bajaj Finserv(down 3.62%), Maruti Suzuki(down 3.51%), Tata Steel(down 3.46%), JSW Steel(down 3.41%) and Mahindra & Mahindra(down 3.39%) were trading in the red.
