NEW DELHI: Ibull Housing Fin(Rs. 2711.92 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 2430.36 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1854.84 crore), RIL(Rs. 1770.19 crore), Zee Ent.(Rs. 1581.33 crore), Apollo Hospital(Rs. 1503.30 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1394.10 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1385.86 crore), Cipla(Rs. 1380.90 crore) and SBI(Rs. 1249.55 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 509.8 points down at 17026.45, while BSE Sensex fell 1687.94 points to 57107.15.
In the Nifty index, Cipla Ltd.(up 7.42 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.47 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.88 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 0.23 per cent) and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 0.03 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 7.67 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 6.72 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(down 6.61 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 5.99 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 5.94 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
