NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 2766.35 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 1974.99 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 1836.46 crore), Bharti Airtel(Rs. 1175.62 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 1144.54 crore), IRCTC(Rs. 1085.60 crore), IndusInd Bank(Rs. 1080.82 crore), SBI(Rs. 1048.18 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 1047.38 crore) and TCS(Rs. 1040.71 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 27.5 points up at 17053.95, while BSE Sensex rose 153.43 points to 57260.58.
In the Nifty index, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 2.82 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.94 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.(up 1.60 per cent) and Wipro Ltd.(up 1.47 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 2.49 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 2.05 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.04 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.03 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
