Sikko Industries(down 3.79%) and Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.45%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 178.35 points up at 17232.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 633.01 points at 57893.59 at around 11:00AM.
Power Grid Corporation of India(up 3.6%), Bajaj Finance(up 3.3%), Bajaj Finserv(up 3.0%), Axis Bank(up 2.83%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.73%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 2.44%), SBI Life(up 2.43%), Tata Motors(up 2.41%), IndusInd Bank(up 2.37%) and Titan Company Ltd(up 1.97%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 1.17%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.76%), Cipla(down 0.46%) and Hero MotoCorp(down 0.34%) were trading in the red.
