Wall Street’s main indexes opened at all-time highs on Tuesday, with investors piling into economically sensitive stocks on hopes of more fiscal aid to lift the world’s biggest economy from a coronavirus-driven slump.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 110.7 points, or 0.35%, at the open to 31,569.34. The S&P 500 rose 10.78 points, or 0.20%, at the open to 3,945.61, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 49.7 points, or 0.35%, to 14,144.75 at the opening bell.
