NSE-BSE bulk deals: Vanguard Fund sells stake worth Rs 1,204 crore in RIL, HUL and others

MUMBAI: Prominent US-based asset management company Vanguard’s fund sold shares of bluechip companies worth Rs 1,204 crore today through multiple block deals on the BSE, exchange data showed.

Vanguard sold shares of Wipro, UltraTech, Titan, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consultancy Services, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, State Bank of India, Reliance Industries, M&M, among 22 others.

The asset management firm sold its shares in the 30 stocks to VFTR Institutional Index Trust II.

On January 14, Vanguard had sold stake worth Rs 1,286 crore in the same 30 stocks through multiple block deals on the BSE to VFTR Institutional Index Trust II.
