Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs on NSE were: Adani Enterprises, Apollo Tyres, Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Balkrishna Industries, Bharti Airtel, Grasim Industries, Indian Bank, Likhitha Infrastructure, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Siemens and Tata Power Company.
Overall, 31 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 18 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, ONGC, Coal India Ltd, Hindalco Industries and Bajaj Finance were among top gainers, while IndusInd Bank, Asian Paints, Bharti Airtel, Titan Company and Tech Mahindra were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 69.43 points up at 50325.18. Traders were seen piling up position in Tyres, Diversified, Industrial Equipment, Mining and IT Enabled Services sectors, while selling were visible in Infrastructure, Gems and Jewellery, Telecommunications, Building Materials and Glass sectors.
