The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 2.26 points at the open to 31,533.25. The S&P 500 fell 4.42 points, or 0.11%, at the open to 3,897.40, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 57.6 points, or 0.43%, to 13,531.01 at the opening bell.
