NEW DELHI: Gold futures on Monday fell 0.31 per cent to Rs 44,544 per 10 gram as participants offloaded their holdings on a low spot demand.
On Multi Commodity Exchange, gold prices for April delivery slipped by Rs 139, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 44,544 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 12,303 lots.
In the international market, gold was trading 0.09 per cent lower at USD 1,697.00 per ounce in New York.
