Shares of
(down 3.1 per cent), (down 1.97 per cent), (down 1.28 per cent), Punjab & Sind Bank (down 0.56 per cent) and (down 0.22 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
While
(up 1.13 per cent), Union Bank of India (up 0.67 per cent) and J&K Bank (up 0.52 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 0.05 per cent down at 2354.4 around 02:48PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 82.25 points at 15180.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 277.36 points at 51302.84.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 18 were in the red.
