Apollo Hospital Stock Price: Apollo Hospital shares down 0.5% as Nifty drops

NEW DELHI: Shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. traded 0.5 per cent down in Thursday’s trade at 12:40PM (IST). Around 12,153 shares changed hands on the counter.

The scrip opened at Rs 3057.95 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3057.95 and Rs 2904.0, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 3283.9 and a 52-week low of Rs 1253.25.

As per BSE, the total market cap of the Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. stood at Rs 41028.01 crore at the time of writing this report.

Key Financials

The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 2765.34 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2020, down 0.24 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 2772.04 crore and down 5.34 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 2921.4 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 130.45 crore, up 41.58 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

Shareholding pattern

As of 31-Dec-2020, DIIs held 7.34 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 51.7 per cent and the promoters 30.82 per cent.

Valuation ratio

According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 203.21 and a price-to-book ratio of 4.74. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
