Berger Paints share price: Berger Paints shares gain 0.31% as Sensex rises

Shares of (India) Ltd. traded 0.31 per cent up at Rs 711.9 at 02:06PM (IST) on Thursday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 263.52 points to 47969.32. The scrip had settled at Rs 709.7 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 824.8 and Rs 431.55, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 02:06PM (IST) stood at 02:06PM shares with turnover at Rs 6.32 crore.

At the prevailing price, the stock trades at 112.37 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 6.33 per share and 18.16 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.89.


Shareholding Details

Promoters held 149.96 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 22.48 per cent and DIIs 8.02 per cent.
