concor share price: Share price of Concor jumps as Sensex gains 315.58 points

The share price of Container Corporation of India Ltd. gained 2.78 per cent to Rs 571.15 at 10:05AM (IST) in Tuesday’s trade. The scrip has hit a high of Rs 574.95 and low of Rs 555.75 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 555.7 in the previous session.

The counter has had a total traded volume of 31769 shares so far with a value of Rs 1.8 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 43.77 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.01.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

Profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 234.27 crore, up 29.51 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
