In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India, Hindalco,
, ONGC and Dr. Reddy’s were among top gainers, while Shree Cements, UltraTech Cements, Britannia, Infosys and Hero MotoCorp were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 338.24 points up at 49544.71. Traders were seen piling up position in Mining, Sugar, Agro Processing, Diversified and Metals – Ferrous sectors, while selling were visible in Gems and Jewellery, Plastics, Cement, IT Enabled Services and Services sectors.
