Wall Street’s main indexes opened higher on Monday as higher oil prices lifted energy stocks, while investors geared up for key inflation readings later this week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 130.0 points, or 0.38%, at the open to 34,338.82. The S&P 500 rose 28.3 points, or 0.69%, at the open to 4,184.64, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 144.2 points, or 1.07%, to 13,615.54 at the opening bell.
