Colgate-Palmolive share price: Colgate-Palmolive shares down 0.03% as Sensex rises

Shares of (India) Ltd. fell 0.03 per cent to Rs 1724.15 in Monday’s session as of 01:43PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 75.27 points higher at 52461.46.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap down start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 1774.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1322.8 on NSE. Around 58632 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:43PM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 1723.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 1739.0 and Rs 1717.75 during the session so far. The counter quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 45.26, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 38.07 and price to book value (PB) of 36.38, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 88.77.

The promoters held 51.0 per cent stake in the company as of July 12, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 16.9 per cent and 2.79 per cent, respectively.

The company reported net profit of Rs 314.66 crore for the latest quarter, up 54.13 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
