NEW DELHI: YES Bank (number of shares traded: 14.43 crore), Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 6.61 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 6.23 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 5.44 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 4.69 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 3.00 crore), Bank of Baroda (number of shares traded: 2.70 crore), Wipro (number of shares traded: 2.69 crore), ITC (number of shares traded: 2.46 crore) and PNB (number of shares traded: 2.24 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 02:33PM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 94.9 points up at 15948.85, while BSE Sensex was up 349.17 points at 53253.22 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 5.60 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Ltd. (up 4.29 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 3.66 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 2.57 per cent) and Wipro Ltd. (up 2.33 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 3.10 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.18 per cent), Coal India Ltd. (down 1.15 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd. (down 0.63 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd. (down 0.62 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
