SOBHA (up 8.96 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.38 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 1.91 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.42 per cent) and DLF (up 0.32 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Brigade Enterprises (down 1.14 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 0.64 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (down 0.2 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.18 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Realty index was up 0.84 per cent at 380.35 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 91.5 points at 15945.45, while the BSE Sensex was up 334.77 points at 53238.82.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 24 were in the red.
