NEW DELHI: Shares of Shyam Century Ferro, GKW Ltd, Datamatics Glob, L&T Tech and GSS Infotech, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:34AM (IST) on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 35.85 points to 15889.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.
However, stocks such as Walpar Nutritions Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.
Overall, 19 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 traded in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, L&T, HCL Tech, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and HDFC Life were among top gainers, while ONGC, M&M, Eicher Motors, NTPC and Asian Paints traded in the red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 134.17 points up at 53038.22 at 10:34AM (IST).
Traders were seen piling up positions in Construction, Diversified, IT Enabled Services, Miscellaneous and Cables sectors, while selling was visible in Plastics, Gems and Jewellery, Chemicals, Sugar and IT – Hardware sectors.
