NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 25.61 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 2.63 crore), Wipro (number of shares traded: 2.32 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 1.80 crore), Orient Green Pwr (number of shares traded: 1.74 crore), BHEL (number of shares traded: 1.66 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 1.60 crore), Gammon Infra (number of shares traded: 1.56 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.36 crore) and ITC (number of shares traded: 1.36 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:46AM in Friday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 20.1 points up at 15944.3, while BSE Sensex was up 66.99 points at 53225.84 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (up 2.66 per cent), Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 1.88 per cent), ITC Ltd. (up 1.33 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd. (up 1.33 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (up 1.14 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 2.67 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 2.10 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 1.75 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (down 0.98 per cent) and Infosys Ltd. (down 0.97 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
