Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Monday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 586.66 points down at 52553.40 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, East India Sec (down 14.79 per cent), Mewar Hi-Tech Engine (down 13.30 per cent), SPS Finquest (down 10.00 per cent), Unishire Urban Infr (down 10.00 per cent) and Navoday Enterprises Ltd. (down 9.74 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 8 stocks closed in the green, while 42 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 171.0 points down at 15752.4.

On the BSE, Ranjeet Mechatronics, Santosh Fine, Supra Trends, Divinus Fabrics and Munoth Fin hit their fresh 52-week lows, while G R Infraprojects Ltd., Clean Science & Technology Ltd., Datamatics Glob, Pearl Global and Praveg Comm touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
