In the month of July, there is only one major holiday i.e. on July 21 on the eve of Bakri-Id (Id-ul-Zuha). That is the only day on which banks are closed in almost all the states.
Apart from that, banks have general offs on the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays, as they regularly do. If a month has five Saturdays, the fifth Saturday will be a working day for the bank.
State governments decide specific holidays. Here is a look at the states that have bank holidays in July:
Jammu & Kashmir
Ladakh
- June 20: Bakrid
- June 21: Bakri ID
