petronet LNG share price: Petronet LNG shares up 0.23% as Sensex falls

Shares of Ltd. gained 0.23 per cent to Rs 220.2 in Monday’s session as of 12:19PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 32.39 points lower at 52943.41.

Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 275.25 and a 52-week low of Rs 207.4 on NSE. Around 104590 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:19PM (IST).

The stock opened at Rs 220.35 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 220.6 and Rs 219.2 during the session so far. The scrip quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 11.25, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 19.59 and price to book value (PB) of 2.7, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 24.89.


Promoter/ FII Holding
The promoters held 50.0 per cent stake in the company as of July 26, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 31.06 per cent and 4.89 per cent, respectively.

With a market capitalisation of Rs 33060.0 crore, the company operates in the Gas Storage & Distribution industry. For the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 7624.47 crore, up 2.65 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 7427.9 crore and up 11.89 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 637.92 crore for the latest quarter, up 70.93 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
