(numbers of share traded: 24.97 crore), Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 21.95 crore), Reliance Comm (numbers of share traded: 7.17 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 7.16 crore), JP Power (numbers of share traded: 6.73 crore), SAIL (numbers of share traded: 6.25 crore), ITC (numbers of share traded: 4.73 crore), Ibull Housing Fin (numbers of share traded: 4.00 crore) and PNB (numbers of share traded: 3.95 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 31.6 points down at 15824.45, while BSE Sensex ended down 123.53 points at 52852.27.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd. (down 1.81 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 1.45 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd. (down 1.37 per cent), State Bank of India (down 1.31 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.30 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
