NEW DELHI: Reliance Comm (number of shares traded: 12.66 crore), Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 8.60 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 3.67 crore), Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 3.49 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 3.13 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.87 crore), Tata Motors (number of shares traded: 1.69 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 1.52 crore), DLF (number of shares traded: 1.49 crore) and Vikas Ecotech (number of shares traded: 1.46 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:35AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 50.65 points up at 15875.1, while BSE Sensex was up 140.37 points at 52992.64 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 3.74 per cent), Bajaj Finance Ltd. (up 2.36 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 2.08 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.99 per cent) and State Bank of India (up 1.89 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Axis Bank Ltd. (down 0.83 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 0.77 per cent), Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.75 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (down 0.71 per cent) and Tech Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.56 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
