Coforge (up 5.69 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (up 3.72 per cent), Larsen & Toubro Infotech (up 3.08 per cent), Mindtree (up 1.78 per cent) and HCL Technologies (up 1.6 per cent) were among the top gainers.
MPhasis (down 0.46 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 1.05 per cent at 30269.25 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 69.3 points at 15778.7, while the BSE Sensex was up 221.68 points at 52665.39.
