Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today’s trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Stylam Ind, Kothari Petro, Hind Oil Expl, Zota Healthcare and Walpar Nutritions Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday’s trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 122.1 points up at 15885.15 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vera Synthetic, OCL Iron Steel, Viceroy Hotels, Rajvir Ind and DQ Entertainmnt, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 40 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Shree Cements, Titan Company, Eicher Motors, BPCL and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers during the day, while UPL, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Bajaj Finance and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 363.79 points up at 52950.63.

Traders piled up positions in Diversified, Real Estate, Cables, Logistics and Tyres sectors, while selling was witnessed in Petrochemicals, Power, Sugar, Tea / Coffee and Defence sectors during the day.
