Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 8.66 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.4 per cent), SOBHA (up 1.24 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 0.26 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty (down 2.44 per cent), Hemisphere Properties India (down 1.79 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 1.48 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.01 per cent) and DLF (down 0.81 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 0.27 per cent up at 393.45.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 2.15 points at 16282.25, while the BSE Sensex stood down 28.73 points at 54525.93.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 ended in the green, while 26 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zomato Ltd., SAIL and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Ugro Capital, Hikal Ltd, Jubilant Ingrevia Ltd., Nelco Ltd and N K Industries hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while Shrenik, AKG Exim Ltd., Future Market, Network People Services Technologies Ltd. and Chaman Lal Setia hit their fresh 52-week lows.
