NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 479.60 crore), Bata India (Rs. 399.52 crore), Lupin (Rs. 303.21 crore), SAIL (Rs. 291.19 crore), IRCTC (Rs. 287.77 crore), ITC (Rs. 254.87 crore), Cummins India (Rs. 197.10 crore), Power Grid (Rs. 193.86 crore), HDFC Bank (Rs. 190.98 crore) and Tech Mahindra (Rs. 184.92 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 49.95 points up at 16332.2, while BSE Sensex was up 177.83 points at 54703.76 as of 10:09AM (IST) on August 12.
In the Nifty index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (up 2.41 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 2.20 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (up 1.55 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (up 1.17 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd. (up 1.16 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. (down 0.56 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (down 0.47 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd. (down 0.44 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (down 0.33 per cent) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.29 per cent) were among the top losers.
