Mindtree (up 1.56 per cent), MPhasis (up 1.34 per cent), Tata Consultancy (up 0.5 per cent), HCL Technologies (up 0.49 per cent) and Wipro (up 0.44 per cent) were among the top gainers.
Larsen & Toubro Infotech (down 0.82 per cent), Coforge (down 0.24 per cent) and Tech Mahindra (down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.31 per cent at 32780.85 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 15.6 points at 16513.5, while the BSE Sensex was down 28.04 points at 55409.25.
