NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 7.89 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 3.56 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 3.14 crore), Devyani International Ltd. (number of shares traded: 2.48 crore), Canara Bank (number of shares traded: 1.25 crore), Suzlon Energy (number of shares traded: 1.12 crore), BHEL (number of shares traded: 1.08 crore), Ashok Leyland (number of shares traded: 1.08 crore), Vedanta (number of shares traded: 1.00 crore) and Ibull Real Estate (number of shares traded: 0.90 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 17.65 points up at 16580.7, while BSE Sensex was up 60.77 points at 55643.35 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Tata Consumer Products Ltd. (up 3.50 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd. (up 3.44 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd. (up 2.06 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 1.76 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (up 1.57 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 2.21 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd. (down 1.37 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (down 1.14 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (down 1.07 per cent) and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 1.06 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
