NEW DELHI: Tata Steel (Rs. 785.86 crore), MindTree (Rs. 569.15 crore), Aptus Value Housing Finance India Ltd. (Rs. 506.02 crore), Chemplast Sanmar Ltd. (Rs. 414.83 crore), Apollo Hospital (Rs. 405.47 crore), Vedanta (Rs. 336.77 crore), Info Edge (Rs. 330.07 crore), RIL (Rs. 316.84 crore), Tech Mahindra (Rs. 312.91 crore) and Bajaj Finance (Rs. 292.79 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:25AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 42.25 points up at 16538.7, while BSE Sensex was up 129.3 points at 55685.09 as of 10:25AM (IST) on August 24.
In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 3.48 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd. (up 2.54 per cent), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (up 2.23 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 2.01 per cent) and Coal India Ltd. (up 1.79 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. (down 1.03 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd. (down 0.90 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 0.79 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.75 per cent) and Nestle India Ltd. (down 0.74 per cent) were among the top losers.
