Tech Mahindra (up 1.91 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (up 1.79 per cent), Wipro (up 0.34 per cent) and Infosys (up 0.13 per cent) were among the top gainers.
MPhasis (down 1.64 per cent), Mindtree (down 1.26 per cent), Coforge (down 0.79 per cent), HCL Technologies (down 0.66 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Infotech (down 0.63 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty IT index was up 0.04 per cent at 33932.5 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 36.7 points at 16533.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 115.26 points at 55671.05.
