NEW DELHI: RIL (Rs. 948.04 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs. 786.19 crore), Adani Ports SEZ (Rs. 553.37 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 468.96 crore), Linde India (Rs. 433.89 crore), Bajaj Finserv (Rs. 358.65 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 341.29 crore), Adani Ent. (Rs. 328.80 crore), HDFC Life (Rs. 259.02 crore) and Kotak Bank (Rs. 251.10 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:59AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 39.35 points up at 16674.0, while BSE Sensex was up 146.93 points at 56091.14 as of 10:59AM (IST) on August 26.
In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 1.70 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd. (up 1.63 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.55 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd. (up 1.28 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 1.18 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 2.07 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 1.62 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 1.33 per cent), NTPC Ltd. (down 1.18 per cent) and Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.08 per cent) were among the top losers.
