Mutual funds do not guarantee any returns. The returns you will make is entirely dependent on the performance of your schemes. You can hope to get around 10-12% annual returns from equity schemes over a long period. If you are not making any investments, your current Rs 72 lakh will take around 17 years to reach Rs 5 crore. We have assumed that your investments will make an annual return of 12%.
