NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 6.45 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 4.65 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 1.82 crore), JP Power (number of shares traded: 1.78 crore), Canara Bank (number of shares traded: 1.39 crore), Bharti Airtel (number of shares traded: 1.28 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.08 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 1.06 crore), BHEL (number of shares traded: 0.89 crore) and Zomato Ltd. (number of shares traded: 0.89 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:48AM in Thursday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 31.8 points up at 16666.45, while BSE Sensex was up 121.31 points at 56065.52 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Reliance Industries Ltd. (up 1.74 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. (up 1.67 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 1.51 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 1.37 per cent) and HCL Technologies Ltd. (up 1.27 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Bharti Airtel Ltd. (down 2.05 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (down 1.91 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (down 1.51 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (down 1.44 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd. (down 1.31 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
