NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel (Rs. 961.59 crore), Indian Energy Exchg (Rs. 667.23 crore), Apollo Hospital (Rs. 629.94 crore), Tata Steel (Rs. 628.51 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs. 510.52 crore), RIL (Rs. 464.39 crore), Infosys (Rs. 354.98 crore), Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd. (Rs. 354.07 crore), ICICI Pru Life (Rs. 331.13 crore) and IRCTC (Rs. 295.37 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:45AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index traded 62.65 points up at 16993.7, while BSE Sensex was up 209.67 points at 57099.43 as of 10:45AM (IST) on August 31.
In the Nifty index, Bharti Airtel Ltd. (up 2.67 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (up 1.96 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd. (up 1.82 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd. (up 1.78 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd. (up 1.65 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Tata Motors Ltd. (down 1.68 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd. (down 0.77 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (down 0.67 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (down 0.54 per cent) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 0.50 per cent) were among the top losers.
