NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (numbers of share traded: 134.05 crore), YES Bank (numbers of share traded: 14.65 crore), IDFC First Bank (numbers of share traded: 4.90 crore), PNB (numbers of share traded: 4.71 crore), GTL Infra (numbers of share traded: 4.04 crore), Trident Ltd (numbers of share traded: 3.95 crore), NALCO (numbers of share traded: 3.44 crore), Alok Industries (numbers of share traded: 3.08 crore), Bank of Baroda (numbers of share traded: 2.88 crore) and Zomato Ltd. (numbers of share traded: 2.81 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday’s market in terms of trading volume.
The NSE Nifty index closed 8.6 points down at 17353.5, while BSE Sensex ended down 29.22 points at 58250.26.
On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd. (down 2.60 per cent), Divi’s Laboratories Ltd. (down 2.40 per cent), Wipro Ltd. (down 1.79 per cent), NTPC Ltd. (down 1.55 per cent) and SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd. (down 1.51 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
