Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Monday’s session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 127.31 points down at 58177.76 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Gujarat Hy-Spin (down 20.00 per cent), Atam Valves (down 13.47 per cent), Transglobe Foods (down 10.19 per cent), Anjani Finance (down 9.31 per cent) and Sumuka Agro Ind. (down 8.85 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.

In the Nifty pack, 32 stocks closed in the green, while 18 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 13.95 points down at 17355.3.

On the BSE, MPIL Corp, RJ Shah Co, Aashka Hospitals Ltd., Jonjua Overseas and Shree Bhawani hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Resonance Spec, Cantabil Retail, Yasho Industries, KMC Speciality and Action Const. touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
