Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty ended 24.7 points up at 17380.0, while the BSE Sensex closed 69.33 points up at 58247.09.
On the other hand, Ami Organics Ltd., Vijaya Diagnostic Centre Ltd., Dev Information Tech, Cosmo Films and Man Infracons stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors and Tech Mahindra were among the top gainers on the NSE in the today’s trade.
Meanwhile, UltraTech Cem., HDFC, Nestle India, BPCL and HUL were among the top losers of the day.
