NEW DELHI: Shares of Ganesh Benzo, BEW Engineering Ltd., Bodhi Tree Multimed, Easy Trip Planners Ltd. and Ami Organics Ltd., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday’s trade on NSE.
Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 110.05 points up at 17629.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.
However, stocks such as Krsnaa Diagnostics Ltd. and Inventure Grwth, touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Overall, 25 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.
In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, ITC, SBI, RIL and Kotak Bank were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Grasim Inds., TCS, Tata Steel and Shree Cements ended in the red.
The BSE Sensex closed 417.96 points up at 59141.16.
Traders piled up positions in Tobacco, Diversified, Banks, Retail and Glass sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT – Hardware, Petrochemicals, Metals – Ferrous, Learning & Education and Power sectors during the day.
