NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 402.0 points up at 58892.93 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Radhey Trade Holding (down 20.00 per cent), Lex Nimble Solutions (down 18.79 per cent), Mayukh Dealtrade (down 10.99 per cent), Superior Finlease (down 9.98 per cent) and Gini Silk Mill (down 9.90 per cent) stood among the top losers in today’s trade.
In the Nifty pack, 40 stocks closed in the green, while 10 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 165.1 points up at 17562.0.
On the BSE, Superior Finlease, Vanta Bioscience, Shukra Bullions, Diksha Greens and Naapbooks Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Choksi Imaging, Atam Valves, NDTV, Prakash Woollen & S and Gujarat Themis touched their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
