NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea (number of shares traded: 20.10 crore), YES Bank (number of shares traded: 4.07 crore), SBI Cards (number of shares traded: 3.70 crore), SAIL (number of shares traded: 1.72 crore), ONGC (number of shares traded: 1.50 crore), GMR Infra (number of shares traded: 1.42 crore), PNB (number of shares traded: 1.34 crore), GTL Infra (number of shares traded: 1.27 crore), NALCO (number of shares traded: 1.14 crore) and ITC (number of shares traded: 1.10 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Tuesday’s session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 21.55 points down at 17375.35, while BSE Sensex was up 192.59 points at 58683.52 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (up 3.04 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (up 1.70 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd. (up 1.66 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd. (up 1.49 per cent) and Asian Paints Ltd. (up 1.08 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (down 2.76 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd. (down 1.84 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd. (down 1.79 per cent), Axis Bank Ltd. (down 1.60 per cent) and Bajaj Auto Ltd. (down 1.55 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
